This fourteenth video is dedicated to the Barcelona Aquarium.
The Barcelona Aquarium opened its doors in 1995 with a clear educational mission and the specific goal of showing citizens the possibility of experiencing the marine world.

The Barcelona Aquarium is a leading space for education, sustainability, and innovation, presented as a unique experience that unites emotion, knowledge, and environmental commitment.
With more than 11,000 organisms of 600 different species and the largest underwater tunnel in Europe, the Barcelona Aquarium is the most important marine center in the world dedicated to the Mediterranean. In addition, it offers immersive digital experiences, interactive spaces, modern and sustainable facilities, and a transformative view towards the future of our blue planet.
A real immersion in the oceans
From the very moment you enter the Barcelona Aquarium, the sea comes to life within the facilities with the largest digital floor screen in Europe, covering an area of 300 m2.
The tour begins in Mediterranean surface environments and advances towards increasingly deeper areas. 80 themed aquariums let you discover the richness and biodiversity of places such as the Ebro Delta or the Medes Islands, with iconic species like seahorses, moray eels, rays, or sharks. You can also explore the tropical waters of the Great Barrier Reef, the Caribbean, or the Red Sea, with their explosion of colors, corals, and fascinating species.
Immersive and educational experiences
In the new Journey to the Depths area, a 360º room with projections, sound, and visual storytelling, you will literally dive into marine ecosystems to discover their beauty… and also the dangers that threaten them, such as plastic pollution.
Aqua Protectors, the augmented reality space, invites the youngest visitors to create their own fish and see it swim in a digital ocean. They will also be able to explore the Mangroves area, an interactive space for all ages. A space designed to thrill and raise awareness, for young people and the not-so-young.
The "Videos to (Re)Discover La Rambla" are part of the project "La Rambla, a new model of Urban Tourism" with which Amics de La Rambla wants to invite you to stroll La Rambla, to better know it, and to love it. The project has the support of the Generalitat de Catalunya, the Barcelona City Council, and GetYourGuide.
