La Rambla Main Festival - Rose Festival

The La Rambla Festival - Roser Festival, which Amics de La Rambla has organized without interruption since 1961, is the annual celebration with which we invite both Barcelona residents and visitors to enjoy La Rambla. These are days when culture, leisure, and popular events-always present on La Rambla-take center stage.

For some years now, we have wanted flowers to be the stars of the Festival, and many of the events are related to the tradition of flowers on La Rambla.

Objective

The main aim of the Roser Festival is, by promoting floral art and the florist's trade, to connect flowers and La Rambla. The tradition of flowers on La Rambla is historic and is one of the traditional elements of the boulevard that must be defended and promoted.

To achieve this goal, we have the participation of the florists of La Rambla, the Guild of Florists of Catalonia, and the School of Floral Design and Landscaping. In September 2017, Amics de La Rambla signed a collaboration agreement with the Guild of Florists of Catalonia and the School of Floral Design and Landscaping to carry out this project.

Flowers, culture, tradition, and participation with the intention of bringing La Rambla closer to the people of Barcelona, inviting them to rediscover it and enjoy it more than ever.
