Civil Coexistence

Living together is about making individual rights compatible with collective rights and improving the quality of life of the neighborhood. This objective becomes especially important in spaces like La Rambla where more than 214,000 people converge every day, all of them different.

The Association, as a meeting entity for different groups living in the Promenade, actively participates in various initiatives that work to promote peaceful and healthy coexistence in La Rambla.

Thus, the Association is a special guest, for example, at the Institutional Commission for the analysis and treatment of the vandalism phenomenon; it systematically participates in the Citizen Council and in the Public Hearings of the Ciutat Vella District.

In addition, it is part of the Tot Raval Foundation and collaborates every year with the Community of Sant'Egidio in the Solidarity Dinner on Christmas Day. Also, it is worth highlighting the solidarity aspect of partner groups such as the kiosk owners, who for years, coinciding with the Rose Festival, make donations of various amounts to entities working towards improving the conditions of the most needy or the sick.
