"The nurses in the 17A attack"

You can now purchase from Amics de La Rambla the book “Nurses in the 17A Attack. Stories of Solidarity and Professionalism” published by Ediciones San Juan de Dios – Campus Docent.

The publication aims to shed light on the work of nurses during the emergency situation caused by the terrorist attack. It is built from the stories of people who, through their work, helped the victims of the attack. Some appear with their full names, while others remain anonymous, but all of them wanted to share how they experienced and what they felt that afternoon of August 17, 2017.

In the book, nurses explain their professional actions, but also recount how they felt, the emotions they experienced in the initial moments and also in the days that followed. In a new act of generosity, all the testimonies share their personal experiences so they are not forgotten and to help us better and more fully understand the story of what happened and how we lived through it.

The book is priced at €10, and all proceeds from its sale will go to the Support and Evaluation Unit for Victims of Terrorism.
