Mural tribute to Luis Adame and Irene Alba (founders of Tablao Flamenco Cordobés)
With this mural, Tablao Flamenco Cordobés has added a new urban art attraction to La Rambla.
The mural pays tribute to the founders of Tablao Flamenco Cordobés: guitarist Luis Adame (artistic name of Luis Pérez) and dancer Irene Alba. Their presence on La Rambla vindicates flamenco as part of Catalan culture, very present especially in Ciutat Vella.
The mural is a work by FERT, artistic name of Jordi Comas, an urban artist originating from Figueres. In 2008, he began creating interventions in urban spaces and has created murals in the United States and various countries in South America and Europe.
A graduate in Applied Arts to the Wall, he has dedicated his life to the production of large-scale murals. He has carried out commissions and performances for companies as important as Coca Cola Company, Nike Spain, Casa Decor Barcelona, City of Miami, La Roca Village, Beefeater, Sonar Barcelona Festival, A.C Quito (Ecuador), Lime, ATRESMEDIA, GSK, Vice Magazine, Wallapop, Empordà Museum, or Cupra.
