Plate tribute to Mary Santpere

The plaque is located just in the median strip next to the Palau de la Virreina. Both the plaque, the planter, and the structure that supports a Bougainvillea climbing up the median strip are a tribute to the actress Mary Santpere.
The whole ensemble was designed by Luis Archilla i Teruel and was inaugurated on January 5, 1993.
The text on the plaque reads:
“To Mary Santpere i Hernàez / Actress / Honorary Rambla Walker / 1992 / Friends of La Rambla”
