The Mask. FAD Award 1991 on La Rambla.

In 1991, the Foment de les Arts Decoratives (FAD) awarded the Sebastià Gasch Prize to La Rambla. To commemorate this, a plaque designed by Joan Brossa was embedded in the pavement at the top of Rambla Sant Josep.

The Sebastià Gasch award was established in 1976 in memory of the journalist for his constant support of the performing arts.

The pavement is made of granite with bronze inlays and is signed by Joan Brossa.
